Rokhl Kafrissen's Shtumer Shabes

Join us on Wednesday 08 January, 2025 at 7:00 PM for the second developmental reading of this fascinating new play by one of the modern Yiddish world’s most exciting writers. Under the direction of dramaturg Lynn Thomson (RENT) and starring Alona Bach, Noah Mitchel, and Mitzi Manna, this play steps back in time to the Lower East Side of the 1990s, when a graduate student working on her dissertation gets more than she bargained for when she befriends an aging Yiddish diva.
